A municipal by-election will be held this fall for Division 4. Below are the important details for voters and candidates.

๐Ÿ”” Please note: We do not maintain a voters list. Proof of address within the RM is required.
If your government-issued ID does not include your RM address, you must bring an additional document showing your civic address or land location (e.g., tax notice, utility bill).


๐Ÿงพ Candidate Information

Eligibility

To run for council, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old on election day

  • Be a Canadian citizen

  • Have been a Saskatchewan resident for at least the past six months

  • Not be disqualified under The Local Government Elections Act, 2015 (LGEA) or any other applicable Act

  • Be eligible to vote in the Rural Municipality

Nomination Requirements

  • Two eligible voters must sign your Nomination Paper

    • If running for Councillor, both nominators must reside in the division you wish to represent

  • Nomination forms must include:

    • A completed and signed Nomination Paper

    • The candidateโ€™s signed acceptance

    • A Public Disclosure Statement (required as of January 1, 2020)

๐Ÿ“ Nomination forms and public disclosure statements will be available at the Municipal Office during regular business hours for public viewing.
